Grupa Play zwiększa swój udział w SferaNet

Grupa Play podpisała umowę o nabyciu akcji operatora sieci światłowodowych na Podbeskidziu spółki SferaNet S.A. z siedzibą w Bielsku-Białej. Przyczyni się to do poszerzania zasięgu usług światłowodowego internetu i telewizji cyfrowej, zapewniając klientom najwyższą jakość usług i wolność wyboru.

W ramach transakcji, do której doszło 31 stycznia 2023 roku, Grupa Play, poprzez spółkę celową Vortanoria Investments Sp. z o.o., podpisała umowę o nabyciu 83,55% akcji w SferaNet, zwiększając swoje udziały w spółce z dotychczasowych 2,97% do 86,52%.

SferaNet dysponuje 1300 km sieci światłowodowej w kilkudziesięciu miejscowościach na terenie powiatów bielskiego, cieszyńskiego oraz żywieckiego, oferując dostęp do internetu i telewizji cyfrowej klientom indywidualnym, a także w modelu hurtowym.
