BenQ rozszerza ofertę o komputery slot-in

BenQ wprowadza na rynek nową linię własnych komputerów na karcie – typu slot-in All-in-One PC (tzw. OPS – Open Pluggable Specification) z certyfikatem Google Mobile Services (GMS). Dwa nowe modele komputerów: TEY1A i TEY2A pozwalają powiększyć moc obliczeniową posiadanych przez użytkowników monitorów interaktywnych BenQ, zwiększyć ich bezpieczeństwo oraz uzyskać dostęp do oficjalnego sklepu Google Play i narzędzi GMS do edukacji i współpracy w szkole czy miejscu pracy.

TEY1A działa pod kontrolą systemu Android 13, a TEY2A – Android 12, obydwa modele wyposażone są w taki sam 8-rdzeniowy procesor zapewniający im dużą wydajność. Komputery oferują kilka opcji łączności ze światem, w tym USB 3.0 typu A i C, HDMI, wejście i wyjście audio, Wi-Fi 6 i Gigabit Ethernet.

Zgodnie z posiadaną umową licencyjną Google Enterprise Devices Licensing Agreement (EDLA), obydwa komputery typu slot-in są dostarczane ze zoptymalizowanym systemem operacyjnym, który jest fabrycznie preinstalowany wraz z oficjalnym sklepem Google Play, dając użytkownikom dostęp do wszystkich aplikacji dostępnych na tej platformie bezpośrednio z ich monitora BenQ. TEY1A i TEY2A są również dostarczane z podstawowymi aplikacjami Google, w tym Google Drive, Chrome i YouTube. Dostępna jest również systemowa funkcja dwóch okien (duo windows), która dla zwiększenia wydajności pracy pozwala otwierać obok siebie dwie aplikacje.

Komputery BenQ slot-in mają własny interfejs systemu Android z wieloma konfigurowalnymi ekranami, stały pasek dokujący na dole ekranu dla najczęściej używanych aplikacji, a także przeciągane foldery i widżety aplikacji. Domyślny ekran główny zawiera również pasek wyszukiwarki Google, co umożliwia szybkie i łatwe wyszukiwanie w Internecie.

Użytkownicy zwracający uwagę na bezpieczeństwo aplikacji mogą polegać na TEY1A i TEY2A, ponieważ oba komputery BenQ korzystają z oficjalnego sklepu Google Play. Oznacza to, że wszystkie aplikacje pobierane i instalowane z Google Play są kontrolowane przez narzędzie Google Play Protect, które sprawdza je pod kątem złośliwego zachowania, a także może je dezaktywować i usunąć z urządzenia.

System oparty na Google oferuje również funkcje, takie jak zamiana tekstu na mowę, tłumaczenie wielojęzyczne i rozpoznawanie znaków pisanych odręcznie (OCR).

W Europie BenQ TEY1A będzie dostępny od sierpnia 2023 r., a TEY2A od września 2023 r.
