Microsoft ogłosił plany inwestycji o wartości 2,2 miliarda dolarów w Malezji na rozwój infrastruktury chmury i sztucznej inteligencji, co jest największą inwestycją firmy w tym kraju. Ta inicjatywa jest częścią szeroko zakrojonej strategii, mającej na celu wzmocnienie wsparcia dla technologicznego rozwoju w Azji Południowo-Wschodniej.

Microsoft ogłosił plany znaczących inwestycji w rozwój infrastruktury chmury i sztucznej inteligencji (AI) w Azji Południowo-Wschodniej. Firma z siedzibą w Redmond zadeklarowała inwestycję 2,2 miliarda dolarów w Malezji, co jest częścią szerszego zaangażowania w rozwój regionalny technologii AI i chmury. Wizyta Satyi Nadelli, dyrektora generalnego Microsoft, w regionie podkreśliła znaczenie Azji Południowo-Wschodniej jako kluczowego rynku dla rozwoju technologii.

Wzmocnienie infrastruktury cyfrowej Malezji

Inwestycja Microsoftu w Malezji skupia się na kilku kluczowych obszarach, w tym na rozwoju infrastruktury cyfrowej, szkoleniach z zakresu AI oraz wsparciu lokalnej społeczności deweloperów. Microsoft współpracuje z rządem Malezji, aby utworzyć krajowe centrum doskonalenia AI, co ma na celu nie tylko rozwijanie technologii, ale również zwiększenie krajowych możliwości cyberbezpieczeństwa. W ramach tego projektu przewidziano również szkolenie dla dodatkowych 300 000 osób w zakresie AI, co wzmocni lokalną bazę talentów technologicznych.

Regionalne centra danych i inwestycje w innych krajach

Oprócz inwestycji w Malezji, Microsoft ogłosił również inwestycje w inne kluczowe rynki w regionie, takie jak Indonezja, Tajlandia, Japonia oraz partnerstwo z firmą G42 w Abu Zabi. Te działania podkreślają globalne podejście Microsoftu do rozwoju chmury i AI, z założeniem, że inwestycje te przyspieszą adopcję nowoczesnych technologii w różnych sektorach gospodarki.

Według analizy firmy konsultingowej Kearney, AI ma potencjał przyczynienia się prawie do 1 biliona dolarów do PKB Azji Południowo-Wschodniej do 2030 roku. W przypadku Malezji, oczekuje się, że wpływ tych technologii osiągnie 115 miliardów dolarów. Inwestycje takie jak te, które prowadzi Microsoft, mają kluczowe znaczenie dla przyspieszenia wzrostu gospodarczego i włączenia społecznego poprzez tworzenie lepiej płatnych miejsc pracy i możliwości dla małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw.

Satya Nadella podkreślił zobowiązanie Microsoftu do wspierania transformacji cyfrowej nie tylko przez rozbudowę infrastruktury, ale również poprzez inicjatywy szkoleniowe, które obejmą 2,5 miliona osób w regionie do 2025 roku.
