OVHcloud wkracza w dynamicznie rozwijającą się dziedzinę Edge Computing, dzięki strategicznemu przejęciu gridscale, niemieckiego dostawcy technologii specjalizującego się w infrastrukturze hiperkonwergentnej.

Firma OVHcloud wchodzi na rynek Edge Computing, m.in. za sprawą przejęcia niemieckiego dostawcy technologii gridscale, specjalizującego się w infrastrukturze hiperkonwergentnej.

Podczas dorocznego wydarzenia OVHcloud Summit 2023 firma ogłosiła plan utworzenia w kolejnych miesiącach aż 18 nowych lokalnych stref w regionie Europy, Bliskiego Wschodu i Afryki, w USA i w innych krajach. W ciągu następnych trzech lat uruchomionych zostanie łącznie aż 150 nowych stref lokalnych.

Przejęcie gridscale i nowe lokalizacje edge computing

Dzięki technologii gridscale pierwsze dwie strefy lokalne zostaną otwarte w ciągu następnych kilku tygodni w Madrycie i Brukseli, oferując szerokie portfolio usług, w tym obliczenia, przechowywanie plików, przechowywanie danych w blokach oraz usługi sieciowe z publicznymi adresami IP.

Połączenie know-how i produktów obu firm umożliwi szybkie zaoferowanie klientom rozwiązań Edge Computing w pełni zintegrowanych z produktami OVHcloud.
