Tuż przed długo wyczekiwanym debiutem na amerykańskiej giełdzie, SpaceX poszerza swój profil biznesowy, wchodząc z impetem na lukratywny rynek infrastruktury dla sztucznej inteligencji. Kosmiczna firma Elona Muska sfinalizowała wieloletnią umowę chmurową z Alphabet, w ramach której dostarczy gigantowi technologicznemu potężne moce obliczeniowe, wzmacniając jednocześnie swoją wycenę.

Przed zaplanowanym na ten tydzień debiutem giełdowym w USA, SpaceX Elona Muska wykonuje strategiczny krok na rynku infrastruktury sztucznej inteligencji. Firma sfinalizowała wieloletnią umowę chmurową z Alphabetem, zabezpieczając dla giganta technologicznego ogromne zasoby obliczeniowe i dynamicznie zmieniając rynkową narrację wokół swojej nadchodzącej wyceny.

Warunki finansowe kontraktu odzwierciedlają gigantyczną skalę obecnego zapotrzebowania na moc AI. Od października tego roku do czerwca 2029 roku Google będzie płacić SpaceX aż 920 milionów dolarów miesięcznie. W zamian Alphabet zyska dostęp do dedykowanej infrastruktury obejmującej około 110 tysięcy procesorów graficznych Nvidia, wraz z niezbędną pamięcią i komponentami towarzyszącymi. Do września dostępna pojemność ma być stopniowo zwiększana po obniżonej stawce, co pozwoli Google płynnie wdrożyć nowe zasoby w swoje struktury operacyjne.

Dla SpaceX Alphabet to kolejny partner po firmie Anthropic, która w maju zdecydowała się na wykorzystanie pełnej mocy obiektu Colossus 1 w Memphis. Te dwa kontrakty łącznie generują około 26 miliardów dolarów przychodu w ujęciu rocznym, a ich całkowita wartość szacowana jest na ponad 70 miliardów dolarów. Taki zastrzyk gotówki drastycznie wzmacnia pozycję SpaceX przed nadchodzącą pierwszą ofertą publiczną (IPO), w której firma zamierza pozyskać 75 miliardów dolarów. Biznesowy profil spółki wyraźnie ewoluuje z podmiotu czysto kosmicznego w stronę fundamentalnego zaplecza dla globalnego sektora AI.

Sojusz opiera się jednak na rygorystycznych warunkach operacyjnych. Jeśli SpaceX nie dostarczy uzgodnionej liczby układów GPU do 30 września, Google – po miesięcznym okresie karencji – zyska prawo do natychmiastowego zerwania umowy lub proporcjonalnego obniżenia opłat. Po 31 grudnia każda ze stron otrzyma możliwość zakończenia współpracy z zachowaniem 90-dniowego okresu wypowiedzenia. Istotnym warunkiem dla Alphabetu było również pełne zachowanie praw własności intelektualnej do własnych treści, modeli sztucznej inteligencji oraz powiązanych danych.
